PRESBYOND
Laser Blend Vision to reduce reliance on reading glasses in presbyopia.
General description
PRESBYOND Laser Blend Vision is designed for patients with presbyopia, aiming to extend the range of functional vision —distance, intermediate and near— minimizing dependence on reading glasses without significantly sacrificing binocular vision. The plan is personalized according to each patient's lifestyle and visual needs.
What does the surgery involve?
Presbyond uses the same excimer laser as LASIK, but with a personalized treatment profile that extends each eye's depth of focus. It's an outpatient surgery, about 15 minutes per eye, done with anesthetic drops.
Post-surgical care
Care is similar to conventional LASIK: relative rest for the first few days, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drops during the first week, and lubricant for several weeks while the brain adapts to blended vision. We include, at no cost, the post-surgical kit with starter drops.
Post-surgical follow-up
Follow-up is especially important with Presbyond because the brain needs time to adapt to the new range of vision, which is why it's always done by the same surgeon who performed your procedure — and we include one month of consultations at no cost.
Other treatments
